About Add Watermark to Image

Add Watermark to Image stamps your own text across one photo or a whole batch. You control the wording, position - tiled, centre, any corner or bottom centre - along with size, opacity, rotation and colour, and a live preview shows exactly how it will look. Useful for photographers, small businesses and anyone sharing document scans. The watermarking is done in your browser, so the originals never leave your device.

How to use Add Watermark to Image

  1. Add the images you want to protect - one or many.
  2. Type your watermark text, such as a studio name, a website or 'For KYC use only'.
  3. Choose Tiled to repeat it across the whole picture, or pick a single corner or the centre.
  4. Set size, opacity, rotation and colour while watching the preview update.
  5. Click Watermark all and download the files one by one or as a ZIP.

What people use it for

  • Marking an Aadhaar or PAN photocopy with the purpose it was submitted for, so it cannot be reused.
  • Adding a studio or shop name across proof photos before sharing them with a client.
  • Branding product images with a website address before posting them on marketplaces.
  • Stamping draft designs or quotations sent to a customer for approval.

Good to know

Text watermarks only - image or logo watermarks are not supported. Tiled mode is the hardest to crop out; a single corner is easy to trim away. A soft shadow is added so light text stays readable on a pale background. Output keeps the input format (JPG, PNG or WEBP) at high quality, and the watermark is permanently drawn into the pixels.

Frequently asked questions

Can the watermark be removed later?
Not by any normal edit - the text is drawn into the image itself, which is why tiled placement is recommended for anything you want to protect. Always keep your unwatermarked original.
What opacity should I use?
Around 30 to 50 percent is the sweet spot: clearly visible but not covering the subject. Lower it for portraits and raise it for document scans where deterrence matters more than looks.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Set the text and style once on the preview, add as many images as you need, and Watermark all applies identical settings to every file.
Can I use a logo image instead of text?
Not in this tool - it places text only. You can approximate a logo by using your brand name with a matching colour, size and rotation.
