About our data & developer tools
The small utilities a developer or analyst reaches for several times a day: format and validate JSON, convert between CSV, JSON and XML, pretty-print SQL, generate UUIDs, hashes, passwords and QR codes, test a regex, or profile a CSV in seconds. They are handy precisely because they are local — you can paste an API response, a customer export or a production query without it leaving your machine or landing in someone's logs.
Data tools — frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste production data here?
Yes. Text you paste is processed by JavaScript in your browser and is never sent to a server, stored or logged. Closing the tab clears it.
Are the generated passwords and UUIDs really random?
They use the browser's cryptographic random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), not a simple pseudo-random function, so they are suitable for real use.
Do the QR codes expire or need an account?
No. The QR code is drawn in your browser and downloaded as a PNG or SVG you own — there is no redirect, no tracking and no expiry.
