About Crop Image
Crop Image lets you cut a photo down to the part you actually want. Drag a box on the preview, drag its corner handles to resize, or type exact X, Y, width and height values for pixel-perfect work. Aspect ratio options include 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:4, 9:16, 3:2 and a passport 35:45 lock. The image is loaded and cut inside your browser and is never sent to a server.
How to use Crop Image
- Choose an image - it appears in a preview with a crop box already covering most of the frame.
- Drag inside the box to move it, or drag a corner handle to resize it.
- Pick an aspect ratio to lock the shape, such as Passport 35:45 or 1:1 Square.
- Fine-tune with the X, Y, Width and Height boxes if you need exact pixels.
- Choose PNG, JPG or WEBP and click Crop image to download the result.
What people use it for
- Cutting a passport-shaped head-and-shoulders photo out of a full-length picture using the 35:45 lock.
- Trimming the desk, shadow and edges off a photographed document or marksheet.
- Making a square 1:1 profile picture for WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn or a company directory.
- Cropping a screenshot to a single chart or table before pasting it into a report.
Good to know
One image at a time, since cropping is a visual decision. The crop box always stays inside the image and never goes below 10 pixels. Coordinates are in real pixels of the original, not of the on-screen preview, so the output is full resolution. JPG output has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white - pick PNG to keep them.
