About Rotate PDF
Rotate PDF turns pages that were scanned or photographed the wrong way up. Choose 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees or 90 degrees anti-clockwise, and apply it to the whole document or only to the pages you list. The rotation is written into the PDF itself, so it stays correct when printed or opened elsewhere, and the file is processed in your browser.
How to use Rotate PDF
- Open your PDF in the tool; the number of pages is shown after it loads.
- Pick the rotation: 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees anti-clockwise.
- Leave the Pages box empty to rotate everything, or type page numbers such as 1, 3-5.
- Click Rotate PDF and download the corrected document.
What people use it for
- Fixing a bank statement scanned sideways at a shop before sending it to a loan officer.
- Turning landscape drawings upright in a tender annexure.
- Correcting a few upside-down pages in a phone-scanned marksheet.
- Setting a printed-and-rescanned agreement the right way up for a court filing.
Good to know
Rotation is added on top of a page's existing rotation, so a page already at 90 degrees moves to 180 degrees rather than resetting. Nothing is re-rendered, so quality and file size stay exactly the same. If different pages need different angles, run the tool twice or use Organize PDF instead.
