About Text to PDF
Text to PDF wraps plain text into a properly paginated PDF with margins, a chosen font and a page size of your choice. Paste the text or open a .txt, .md, .csv or .log file, then get a document you can print or attach. Good for notes, logs, code listings and anything that needs to be handed over as a file rather than a chat message. It is generated in your browser.
How to use Text to PDF
- Paste your text into the box, or use Open .txt to load a file.
- Choose the page size: A4, Letter or Legal.
- Pick a font, Sans, Serif or Mono, and a font size from 10 to 14 pt.
- Set the output file name and click Create PDF, then download it.
What people use it for
- Turning typed notes or a speech draft into a printable handout
- Attaching an error log to a support ticket in a format the team can open anywhere
- Making a PDF of a code listing for a college submission using the Mono font
- Converting a plain-text letter or application into a PDF for an online form
Good to know
Text is wrapped to the page width and flowed across as many pages as needed. Choose Mono when spacing matters, as with code or a fixed-width report, because the proportional fonts will break the alignment. Text with Hindi or other non-Latin characters is rendered through a different path automatically so the characters appear, but that output is not selectable.
