About Case Converter

Case Converter rewrites text into any of eleven cases: UPPER, lower, Title, Sentence, camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, alternating and inverse. Paste a shouty block of text, a list of names or a set of field labels and pick the style you need; the result updates instantly. Nothing is uploaded, so customer names and internal labels stay on your device.

How to use Case Converter

  1. Paste or type your text in the left box.
  2. Click one of the case buttons, such as Title Case or snake_case.
  3. Check the converted text on the right and switch cases freely to compare.
  4. Copy the result or download it as a .txt file.

What people use it for

  • Fixing a list of names or addresses that arrived in ALL CAPS
  • Turning column headings into snake_case for a database or CSV import
  • Converting design labels into camelCase or PascalCase variable names while coding
  • Making a heading Title Case before publishing an article

Good to know

Programming cases such as camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case work line by line, so each line of a pasted list becomes its own identifier. Punctuation and spacing are removed for those cases and preserved for the text cases. Sentence case capitalises after full stops, question marks and the Devanagari danda. Proper nouns and acronyms are not detected, so review names like IIT or McDonald after conversion.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Title Case and Sentence case?
Title Case capitalises the first letter of every word, suitable for headings. Sentence case capitalises only the first word of each sentence and lowercases the rest.
Can I convert a list of column names at once?
Yes. Put each name on its own line and pick snake_case or camelCase; every line is converted separately into its own identifier.
Will it fix acronyms like GST or IIT?
No. Converting to lower or Title Case will change them to Gst or Iit, because the tool cannot tell an acronym from a word. Correct those by hand afterwards.
Does it work with Hindi text?
Case has no meaning in Devanagari, so that text passes through unchanged while any Latin words mixed in are converted normally.
