About AI Prompt Generator

The AI Prompt Generator turns a rough idea into a structured prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. You fill in role, task, context, audience, tone, format, length and constraints, and it assembles them in the layout each model handles best. Seven ready-made presets fill the fields for you. It is a text builder, not a chatbot, so no AI is called here.

How to use AI Prompt Generator

  1. Tap a preset chip such as Blog post, Code review or Interview prep to fill the fields with a working start.
  2. Pick the output style: XML-tagged for Claude, or Markdown for ChatGPT and Gemini.
  3. Edit the fields, from Act as and Task through Context, Tone, Output format and Constraints, and watch the prompt rebuild live.
  4. Tidy the finished prompt in the output box, then copy it or download it as a .txt file.

What people use it for

  • Getting specific, consistent answers from a chat model instead of vague ones.
  • Saving a house-style prompt your team reuses for blog drafts or code reviews.
  • Showing juniors what a well-structured prompt looks like, field by field.
  • Writing a long prompt in advance and pasting it in when you next have a connection.

Good to know

Any field you leave blank is simply left out of the prompt. The XML style wraps task, context, requirements and examples in tags and adds a step-by-step instruction, which Claude follows closely; the Markdown style uses bold headings and ends by inviting clarifying questions. Nothing is submitted to any model here, so you copy the result and paste it yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Does this tool answer my prompt?
No. It only writes the prompt text. You copy it and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or whichever assistant you use, so no API key or paid subscription is needed on this page.
What is the difference between the two styles?
The Claude style uses XML tags such as task and context, which that model is trained to respect. The ChatGPT and Gemini style uses bold Markdown labels instead. The content is identical.
Can I save my prompts?
Download the prompt as a .txt file, or copy it into your own notes. Nothing is stored in the page, so refreshing or closing the tab clears every field.
Do I have to fill every field?
No. Task alone already produces a usable prompt. Role, output format and constraints are the three that improve answers most, so add those next if you are short on time.
